Paul Wise Paul Wise (B.Com)

Paul has spent more than 15 years developing, documenting and using a trading process which really works. His unique trading methodology is the result of his life-time commitment to research and trading, and it is the cornerstone of the strategy taught in the Options Mastery Mentoring course.

As educator, researcher and broker Paul has studied and traded all asset classes which make up the Exchange Traded Options Markets globally. Paul's unique area of knowledge is understanding volatility and its implications on options valuation and trade selection. New clients are intrigued that Paul finds all his trades using a volatility chart, not a price chart. Paul's approach is unique and sets him light years above other participants in the markets.

Paul entered the world of financial markets after the completion of his Bachelor of Commerce in 1993 as a futures and commodities broker. In 1999 he formed an alliance with the Chicago based options software developer OptionVue Systems, provider of the world's most advanced Options Analysis Software, OptionVue 5. He chose this software because its functionality perfectly complemented his trading methodology. In December 2000 Paul left broking to pursue his passion for trading and devote all his time to publishing the knowledge that he had accumulated over his commercial life. He founded Options21, which today is the vehicle in which he is able to guide and coach traders to a professional level.

Paul has been a guest speaker for the ASX and at the Australian Technical Analysts Association (ATAA) on topics of Options Analysis, and has also been prominent in the regular Traders & Investors Expos around Australia.

Nils Marchant Nils Marchant

Nils started his career as an engineer developing hardware, which gave him valuable mathematical and analytical skills, and also the ability and desire to deal with chaos. His work gave him the success he was looking for, but not the financial, time and geographic freedom he would have liked.

Nils first started using options to hedge foreign income earnings to protect against exchange rate risk. After coming to understand the beauty, power and flexibility of options, he subsequently made the transition from using options for insurance to trading options for speculative profit.

Nils finds trading opportunities by analysing capital flows between market sectors. He combines his keen understanding of global affairs with some plain common sense to determine how market fundamentals change.

He penetrates beneath the mainstream news, or "spin" as it is sometimes called, to assimilate international politics, strategic interests, and even strategic mistakes, to form opinions on international finance and how these combine to affect individual market sectors. His particularly keen interest in gold, resources, and energy, and their relationship to the US dollar, provide the cornerstone for his trading decisions.

Nils joined Options21 in 2007, and has since contributed greatly to the content of our educational products. He is also an empathetic tutor and teacher, able to show how easy things are to teach and understand.
