The Matrix Your portal to a wealth of information. Simply select an asset from the "quotes display" then open the Matrix. View all the options for that asset, watch the market, and experiment with trades. Select an option, click on "Expand" and display all of that option's parameters. In the Matrix, it's easy to test "what if" situations. A convenient summary section shows you the current value of your positions, cash flow, margin requirements and commissions. Analyse spreads and other advanced trading strategies. Use the Matrix "Spread" function to show combined parameters of several different options at once. View bid/ask prices of the combined position. Easily set and change your pricing model as well as other formulas and measures that affect how your assets, and information about them, are displayed. View an asset's average implied volatility, its put/call volume ratio, and the Greeks. Call-up the model volatility feature from the Matrix and set how you want volatility modelled - uniform automatic, variable or skewed. View the volatility skew curves of a group of options with skew graphing. Then, manually override the curves, change volatility, and OptionVue 5 "bends" the curve. You can instantly view the effects of your change.
Graphic Analysis Make a thorough analysis of a trade, before you call your broker. Vivid graphing gives you a visual feel for the potential returns and risk of your investment. See how your trade will perform over a range of projected prices. Analyse multiple trades - superimpose performance graphs of two or more positions for quick comparison. View total position P/L, delta, gamma, theta and vega at each interval. To see a tabular breakdown of the calculations behind a graphic analysis, click the Details button. See what should theoretically happen to each element of your position; takes into account slippage, commissions, dividend and interest cash flows, etc.
The Trade Finder It's like having an options trading veteran at your side. Just enter your price projection for your selected underlying asset. Trade Finder searches through and analyses vast quantities of data, running thousands of simulations to quickly generate a list of its top 50 buy/sell recommendations. Following lots of assets? Trade Finder will scan them all and rank the top 50 trades. Set Targets in Price Charts - they're automatically transferred to Trade Finder.  Enter specific Filters to eliminate certain options from consideration based on price or volume thresholds. Use Goals to include existing positions in analysis, scale the recommended trades, and have the program consider equal call/put quantities or ratio calls and puts to achieve delta neutral positions.
Portfolio Manager Record and keep track of your investment transactions. View your account status. Instantly see realized and unrealised gains/losses. Create reports on your account's performance, brokerage commissions, dividends and more. Straightforward and very easy-to-use, Portfolio Manager can also be a helpful training tool as it allows you to set-up and manage a paper-trading account as if it were your real account. Automatically enters special closing transactions (expirations, exercises, assignments) for you into the Transaction Log. Set option expiration and price level alerts in Status of Account display. Generate assorted reports such as account status, realized and unrealized P/L, performance tracking, and even Capital Gains Schedule D Tax Report.
